Lucien Cohen has represented his home country battling off pro poker players to win the EPT Deauville Main Event.
He becomes the second local player within a week to win a Main Event on home turf after Australian David Gorr’s big win at the Aussie Millions Main Event.
Cohen wins €880,000 (US$1.2 million) for his efforts after outlasting a massive field of 891 players each paying €5,000 to take part.
